There are many bands out there that have penned under the name LAME, This one in question is -LAME- hailing from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Formed back in 1991/92 by Garrington Begner. -LAME- is a pop/punk band who emerged during a time of Nirvana based grunge. A stand out band in their area of Toronto the band toured extensively and was able to catch the ear of many record companies, but had also missed many appointments due to their love of sleep and booze (so the stories go). After many top selling recordings in their area, The band was finally picked up by an Independent label, "Vespa Music Group" and put out there first recording for the label "Ol Dr Bomb". The band then went on to win radio contests for best upcoming band. The band then headed back into the studio with their Produce (Pete Lesperance, Harem Scarem) and started recording their next album "Depresso the Clown". This album has never seen the light of day.
