Laika Virgin sounds nothing like a virgin. It's an alternative rock band that has managed to crush many taboos in Estonian music scene. They've been compared with acts like Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Beach Boys. Laika Virgin mixes up everything they like and the suprising results of it have gained a lot of playtime in different radiostations in Estonia. In the beginning of 2011 Laika Virgin opened Raadio 2 prize ceremony on national television. One year later they won Estonian Music Award for the best Alternative Album of the year. Once started as a project working with different singers, Laika Virgin has now turned into solid four-member group. They are chasing maximum equally in the studio and on the stage. Always ready to blow people away. In June 2013 Laika Virgin gave their first foreign concert in Prague (United Islands Festival 2013) Laika Virgin is planning to release their second studio album in spring 2014.
