1. Lagrimas is a DIY Melodic Crust/Screamo band from Watts, California (around the South Central area in LA county). Formed in 2019, they have developed a dark, lofi, and ambient sound while energetic and giving the audience a punch in their sound. They have released 5 EPs, an LP, Life Of Destruction, and a Single, ECSD, along with an LP split with Habak. Their music consists of topics such as non-conformity, anti-authority, and anti-capitalist. Their signature sound includes a blend of melodic crust punk, screamo, and post-rock. Major influences, as stated in interviews, include melodic crust bands Das Plague, Ekkaia, Fall of Efrafa, and Hongo, as well as post-rock bands like This Will Destroy You and Explosions in the Sky.
