This guitar mastermind who has been described by critics as “a cross between Lenny Kravitz, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix”, is rocking the foundations of music world with a trademark style and edgy sound that are unmistakably his own. Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, known as the birthplace of Chicago blues, Ladell Mclin Dubbed one of the last disciples of traditional Chicago Blues, Ladell McLin has played guitar since the tender age of 12. Guitarist emeritus of that scene, he has showcased his talents countless times in performance, including four appearances at the world famous Apollo Theater and with Carlos Santana, B.B. King, and Robert Randolph at the renowned Montreaux Music Festival and Son's D' Hiver Festival in Paris. During Ladell's formative years, his older brother taught him drums and by age 11 was his roadie when his brother toured with James Cotton, Lefty Dizz, A.C. Reid, and Junior Wells. But the guitar became Ladell's first true love, and by age 19 he was hired to play with Eddy Burks. He went on to perform at blues venues throughout the Midwest, including a residency at Buddy Guy's Legends from 1997 to 1999.
