While never achieving huge hometown success, 7% was highly regarded throughout the US and European press as one of the best bands out of Austin; charting at #20 on the CMJ charts, conducting several successful and popular national tours and SXSW showcases, selling over 5000 albums, and garnering lavish praise from major music publications and critics - all from a home-recorded and self-produced product that never had label support!
