Laconic Zero founded 2004 and started as a one-man project with bass-guitar player and composer Trond Harald Jensen (member of Mindy Misty and Next Life). Composing music on the Commodore 64 combined with distorted bass-guitar , formed into a duo in 2007 when Magnus Husum from Far From Tellus joins the band on synth/impro. Laconic Zero was October 2006 in Manhattan; New York and recorded the first album together with guitarist Dag Sølvberg (aka Murky X's and HEX film) and the producer Kramer from Shimmy Disc. Album released August 2007 by the Oslo indie-label Handmade Records and digital released by Second Shimmy. Past live-shows among others includes Monkey Town, Brooklyn New York (w/Ofri Cnaani), Revolver in Oslo (support for Lightning Bolt), Academy of arts in Oslo (pip show VII w/Next Life, Aleksander Rishaug and more..) and blå grotte in Fredrikstad (w/Linn Halvorsrød and more..)
