1. La Revancha is a cumbia band from Uruguay. 2. La Revancha is a band formed in middle of 2005. After almost one year developing the idea to form a band, we remembered a very important detail: "we don't know how to play", and for this detail, we saw the reality of we were mounting a cheap project to play fast rock, dirty and simple, after all our origins (?) are proceeding from the destructive rawest bands and who our ears know. We are a set of five rotten young that, for some reason (we still don't know which) needs a little of "proper" noise to live; a kind of blood spare, in theory, would come in calming them in the hours where we started to play drums and seconds later bawling some music of the 'Anal Cunt' in club tables, school wallets, office tables, whatever, at places where we need to be like marionettes. This is reality that surround us and in certain way don't let us run away from it. However this does not mean we are standard citzens. Music nowadays, is for us that one it joins us with many bands of the independent scene (mainly Brazilian) that also they are running away from this "reality". Bands who as well as us have its difficulties and its evolutions, and mainly with the same objective; the union, the respect and the development of the scene in Brazil's underground.
