La Puzzydoll is a Rock & Roll, Blues and Rockabilly band made up of Pablo Rojahelis (vocals and guitar), Arturo Salinas (drums), Alonso Durán (double bass) and Felipe Rojas (keyboards). The story of La Puzzydoll begins when Pablo Rojahelis and Arturo Salinas decide to put together a Rock & Roll, Blues and Rockabilly band with their friend Alonso Durán, who in turn plays with Arturo in a jazz trio named Fedusa. One day the three of them got together to experiment and emulate the sound of the most influential bands of the 50s and 60s within Blues, rock & roll and Rockabilly such as Chuck Berry, Brian Setzer, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash among others. The result seemed to be perfect but a member was missing to give it a different color and dynamism, so to complete the circle they invited Gonzalo Araya on harmonica to the band. In mid-2012 they released their first album titled “Rockin’ Fiesta”, which contains two compositions by La Puzzydoll and six covers recorded live in March 2012 at the SCD Bellavista venue. At the beginning of 2013 Gonzalo Araya left the band to explore the Brazilian scene and was replaced by keyboardist Felipe Rojas. With this new formation they release their first live EP, recorded on April 27, 2013 in the SCD room of the Plaza Vespucio Mall and released at the beginning of September of the same year.
