La Ludwig Band is a Catalan music group with a style that ranges from classic pop-rock to local folk. The group's name is a pun on Ludwig van Beethoven's name. In 2022, their album "La mateixa sort" was awarded as the best album of the year by the Enderrock Awards and they won the Cerverí Award for the song "S'ha mort l'home més vell d'Espolla". Of Barcelona origin, although they have always notoriously and well-known attributed their origins and gestation to Espolla, Alt Empordà. The group was formed in 2017 by bringing together musicians from past formations from when they were in high school.
