LONG SHOT PARTY is a Japanese Six-piece Rock/pop Band, formed in Sendai, 1998 with the line up: Sasaji (Vocal), Ken Iikawa (Trumpet), KJ (Saxphone), Shuichi (Guitar), SAITARO (Bass), PxOxN (Drums). They released their first mini-album entitled 「MAKING OURSELF UNDERSTOOD IN OUR SOUNDS」 in January, 2000. And then, in October 2002, their first full album 「DELTA FORCE」 released under Indie Label. On October 2007, they signed under a Major Label, DefSTAR RECORDS and released their first major single 「distance」 in January, 2008. They also released their second major single 「My Way (マイウェイ) 」. Their recent work is 「Ano hi Time Machine (あの日タイムマシン) 」 which is an Opening Theme of TV Anime Series, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou.
