With guitarist Dan Storey, bassist Phi l Simmonds and percussionist Sarah Mason, she formed her first band performing her own material around London. 2008 saw LJ perform for David Grindrod (Mama Mia) and as Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber for a BBC programme. In 2009, Elle took to the stage this time with a fully formed electric band with which she has played in well respected venues from The Cavern, Liverpool to Cafe De Paris in London and is a regular at The Spice of Life, Soho.
