LEEPRA DeLUXE is a real phenomenon on the Bulgarian underground scene! Very much influenced by music styles like Surf and Garage-Beat from the 50s and 60s, white Trash Punk and Industrial from the 70s and 80s, and mixed with the Electronic sound of the 90s, they come up with a modern sound that can hardly be defined using the familiar music style terms and which sends us into a new dimension. LEEPRA DeLUXE was founded in 2000 as a side project of Boby Strukanski (bass player for one of the most popular Bulgarian bands from the 90s - Baby Face Clan), Kosio (Bluba Lu) – drums, Bebo (Urban Grey) – guitars. Later on they were joined by good old Naso Ruskov (Baby Face Clan) – vocals and author of the lyrics for “Orgazmo” and “Copper”. After Naso Ruskov left for London with his band – Imbeciles, the rest of the guys moved on as a trio which encouraged them to apply whatever sound tricks they could come up with. What follows is a long line of gigs with a stylish atmosphere. Their animation video Monkey Tricks (Of Tricky Monks) was released in 2006, in which their musical ideas are expressed by the means of Mod Beat culture.
