Locnville consists of brothers, Andrew and Brian Chaplin, born in New York and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Since then, the 2 had been working the underground for years swiftly perfecting their skills until their track Sun In My Pocket changed their lives. The self written and produced album received massive critical acclaim earning them #1 and double platinum status and the 2011 SAMA Award for Best Selling Album Of The Year as well as Best Newcomer Of The Year. Following this, an international record deal and tour to go with it. While touring the globe, Brian and Andrew began to write their experiences on a day to basis in preparation for a follow up album. Deciding to re-invent Locnville for the umpteenth time in their lives, they have revealed what they call Running To Midnight. The two describe the album as 'a complete experiment' and 'more blatant and honest' than their debut. Their follow up album reached #3 on the national charts in a mere 7 hours, peaking at #1 with mass critical acclaim yet again. The first single off Running To Midnight, Stars Above You has since peaked at #1 on national charts with the music video being chosen as Video Of The Week in A&R Worldwide, the industry's most respected source.
