Full songs @ http://www.legojazz.net L’egojazz tinkers with instruments and equipment. The name says it all: single building blocks are combined to resonate and harmonize. Dance, music and visual art coalesce to a newer style of AV+ live show. Since February, 2006 three musicians have been working closely with three multimediaart students and a classical dancer to generate a mix of Electrofunk and Nu-jazz, balanced with fitting livevisuals and effects. A communicative dance performance stimulates the audience and motivates the multi-instrumentalists to dedicate themselves more to the music. Incessant danceable analog and digital sound-productions and tunes from strings, percussion, turntables, and synthesizers are intermixed with German and English poetic singsong. The different musical and visual sequences can be combined in any way as desired. Thus L’egojazz can craft bidirectional communication with their audience and spontaneously adjust to the vibes of the crowd. The point is, all parts are equal: Color, body, and music create an explosion of visual and acustic stimuli.
