EvilBaders was the first group where he started to flow, it was formed by Kaka, Diloy, Agape and Nigga L-HYO. It didn’t last more than a year but it was the start of a path. After EvilBaders, L-HYO was sure that his flow and rhymes were the tools for an already thought future of following the dream that he always had of showing his vision and thoughts to the world through music. With this ideal in his mind, L-HYO falls in love with Rap. His commitment and dedication of following his dream guides him to form a new group named Substitutos (The Replacements) where the demand for a higher level of quality was far superior, showing a will of getting out of the amateur world they were in. That will made L-HYO and Agape, the elements of the group, to record their first studio track called “Ka-100 de olhos em mim”, on the Big Pit studios. After more than a year of producing beats and rhymes L-HYO meets the Groundzero Global Music Projects and in partnership they produce the “Niggaz & Girlz” track, with collaborations from Cartell70 (Beat Laden and Castro). The track gives his career a big boost by allowing him the opportunity of having his tracks on Henrique Amaro’s Antena3 (Portuguese radio station) show. That brought L-HYO important feedback and the title of one of the new Mc’s of the Portuguese HipHop scene. All this Hype brings L-HYO more certainties to lead him to make his first album entitled “Xeque-Mate”. This was released in partnership with Groundzero (some artists in the
