KYKLOOPPIEN SUKUPUUTTO Line-Up guitarro - Juhana tupatupa - Jonne bassoon - Antti (ex.members Juha(RIP), $heikki) vulcano - Mika Biography The group hails from Tampere, a town in the heart of Finland, but none of its members was born there. The group was founded in the fall of 2003. The first demo tape of 9 songs was recorded in April 2004. The first gig was played in May 2004 at Tampere. Approximately 30 gigs have been played, including three brief tours, which of the first in the Finnish Ostrobothnia and Lapland (four gigs), the second outside Finland in Italy, Switzerland and France (four gigs) and the third in the Tampere region as well as Southern and Northern Ostrobothnia (three gigs). The first 7-inch EP "Kuuluuko Meidän Todella?" was released in spring 2005. The second EP, consisting of material recorded during the same session in October 2004, is released in summer 2005, and early year 2006 a split EP with the Danish group Death Token will be released. The name of the group, which translates to 'the Extinction of Cyclops', suggests destruction of bigotry. The band consists of individuals with various leanings, but the actions and manifestos of the band are more or less approved and understood by all its members.
