There is more than one artist under this name: 1. KYA is the stage name of Christina Parie, an australian sing-songwriter made famous by the third australian X Factor series. After reaching the top 6 on the show, Parie released an EP with a pop rock sounding and shortly took her time to work on her music. In 2014 she came back to the industry under the new stage name with her sonority going on an electronic pop vibe. Her debut single, What I Live For is being used to promote the tv show The Blacklist on Australia. 2. kya (伽) is a Japanese composer, arranger, musician and former member of MintJam. 3. Kya is an alternative band from Austin, Texas, founded in 2003 by lead singer/guitarist Conrad Wright and drummer Eric Anderson. They have opened for 30 Seconds to Mars and various other national bands. 4. Kya is an urban chilean singer and singwriter who started releasing music in 2020.
