Prior to being known as Kwick, Terry Bartlett, William Sumlin and Bertram Brown recorded for Stax as The Newcomers having a hit in the early 70's with "Pin The Tail On The Donkey". The band enlisted Vince Williams and became Kwick. They debuted in 1980 with a prosperous self titled LP.
