At least two acts have recorded under the name of "Kwak": 1) A 2000s French rock outfit; 2) A 1990s zouk group. 1) Kwak was created in 2002 in Paris and in Brittany, France, and comprises five singers and nine instruments: Damien Tartamella - song, harmonica, musical saw Julien Joubert - guitars, song Xavier Hamon - percussions, drums Cyril Arnould - song, guitar, bass Guillaume Nost - bass, flute, choruses In 2003, their self-produced album "Notes de paille" (Notes of straw) came out, and was supported by about 200 concerts. Three years later, the band released "Nage dans le sable" (Swim in the Sand).
