He originally debuted as part of the reggae duo Stony Skunk in 2003. Following their disbandment in 2008, he continued under YG Entertainment as a producer and composer. In 2015, Kush and Teddy founded The Black Label. In February 2019, he left YGE and The Black Label to form his own independent label.
