Kunek formed in 2004 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and released their only album, Flight of the Flynns, in 2006. Kunek was put to bed in 2008 as they lost a member and tweaked their musical direction, leading to their new band Other Lives. Quoting Wikipedia: "Kunek is a band that consists of six multi-instrumentalists. We strive to create a unique and provocative sound through the experimentation of composition and tone. We all are in it for the music and if others enjoy our songs it just adds to our inspiration."
