Ku de Judas hail from Alvalade(Lisbon) and they belonged along with bands like Crise Total,Mata-Ratos,Grito Final to 2nd wave of Portuguese Punk Rock bands,they played a mostly ‘77 inspired sound infused with melodic/sarcastic lyrics and with an ever present social conscience,the main writers/composers in the band were Joao Ribas(tracks mostly(guitarist and main vocals/guitarist when Almendra left the band)) and Fernando Serpa(lyrics Mostly(basist) but sometimes it was the other way around,they unfortunatly only left us with a live recording at the Rock Rendez Vous that has come out in one of the Vozes da Raiva Comps. The band ceased activities when Carlos Aguilar(Drummer) died sometime in the 2nd part of the mid-‘80’s.Very recently F,Serpa as also died living a huge vacuum on the Portuguese Punk scene.
