News: The story of KO is being written now at: http://www.tumblr.com/blog/krushedopiates Unreleased tracks at: https://www.youtube.com/user/krushedopiates KO began as a collaboration between D. Smith (Opiate Receptor) and Al Warr (Krush-R), who met online through the now-defunct music site mp3.com. In 1999 they put out a self-released CD-R entitled Stress Monkey, which featured tracks from KO and both of their solo projects. In 2001, Kevin Breidenbach (skin contact) was added to the lineup- he had previously been involved in a project with D. called Skin Receptor. They recorded some new material, and reworked some older KO tracks to be released on the album Driving The Two-Dimensional Highway, which was backed by BLC Productions, and put out on DSBP in 2002.
