Artist
Kristoffer Lo is a Norwegian tubaist and a member of Highasakite, Pelbo, Sunswitch, Yodok and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. With his tuba, pedals and amplifier he creates slow, atmospheric and evocative music. His solo album Anomie was produced by Oz Fritz (Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, the Ramones) at Studio LaFabrique in Provence, France, and consists of a single one hour long track of ambient tuba music. The album was released on the 25th of January 2013. In 2017, Lo was enrolled to join Motorpsycho on stage, and has been doing so in support of their 2017 album The Tower. 2018 saw Lo writing the score for a documentary film about the modern history of Lo's resident city, Trondheim.
