Kris Okotie, now Reverend Chris Okotie was born on June 16, 1959 in Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State in South-South Nigeria to Francis Idje and Cecilia Okotie. He was named at birth as Christopher Oghenebrorie Okotie. He is a law graduate from the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus. He was involved in music (pop) with a debut album: I need someone which made him popular He is now a Reverend (Rev. Chris Okotie) founder and senior pastor of Household of God church, located in oregun, Ikeja, Lagos. He has contested and lost twice the Nigerian presidential election under his political umbrella, FRESH.
