There are at least 5 bands, whic go under the name Koyaanisqatsi. 1) Chicago-based band led by Dave Collis (http://koyaanisqatsi.bandcamp.com/), now called My Dad. 2) a skapunk band from spain (http://www.koyaanisqatsi.org.es) 3) a punkrock band from germany (http://www.strassenkehrer-abm.org) 4) a canadian indie band (http://www.koyaanisqatsi.ca/) 5) a Polish band. About the US solo project: Use to be called Koyaanisqatsi, then he recently changed the name to My Dad. Everything is on his bandcamp is FREE http://koyaanisqatsi.bandcamp.com/ http://mydad.bandcamp.com/ About the spanish band: Koyaanisqatsi has been formed because of the split of Strohº. In summer of 2004 while we were preparing the songs of the new album. After some months reorganizing the band and with some changes during these months the line up is right now: 2 guitars, drums, bass, trumpet and trombone. Since we started this new project we have been mostly putting our efforts to end the new album but now that we have almost finished the album we have re-started to play around Catalunya an we have made an european tour recently.
