A darkwave band from Koenigsberg. The music mixes classical, heavy and electronic sound. The poems by english poets are used as lyrics. The "Korvius" band was founded by Pavel Mertvetskiy as a "one man band" in Kaliningrad in 2006 as he produced his first tracks under this name. The compositions using many various samples and noises most closely matched the "dark ambient" style. Some time later the project was noticed by a producer and manager Denis Engel who proposed to bring it to stage. To enliven the electronic sound a viola player Miron 'Requiem' was engaged. The performance took place at the "Rivelazione Infinito" concert dedicated to neoclassical music on the 30th of August, 2009. The musical style was defined by the audience as close to "darkwave/neoclassical", and the band holds to it to the present day. The activity went down a little in 2010 since the members resided in different countries, but the new material kept appearing. Miron Requiem also started creating music, and a few instrumental compositions were composed by him. At the end of 2010 Pavel Mertvetskiy decided to leave "Korvius" wishing to concentrate on another project completely, and placed it at Miron 'Requiem's disposal. A new cast including Pavel 'M4E5TR0' Matsula (keyboard) and Denis Zrazhva (bass) was assembled at short notice. The first performance of renewed "Korvius" took place at the "Dark Beauty" event at the "Sector 39" club on the 19th of February, 2011. A TV spot covering Kaliningrad go
