KOM ZOT « Reggae Made In Réunion » « A few Word about them » Kom Zot members are from Chaudron, Réunion, a neighbourhood of Saint–Denis (the island's main city) known for being « hot temper but warm ».That the reason why they choose reggae to express themselves. Because they wanted their music to be a reflection of who they are, where they are from; because those values made them, who they are today. At first Kom Zot was a maloya (traditional music) band, then became Kom Zot in 1991 with a first single called Koman Na Fé.The single hit the chart, straight to number# 1, turning Kom Zot into one of the main reggae groups of Reunion island. You will enjoy 10 songs in « Fé In Zès » including « Son Of His Majesty » featuring Albert Griffiths, son of the Al Griffiths. You can also find a duet of Luciano Mabrouck with Hass Keîta, which brings back a strong African vibe to the album with Ini Anou (Enfants d’Afrique). A Live DVD is in the works. They amazing show at « le theatre en plien air » in Saint-Gilles city.Release is schedule for early 2008. Since their first album « Rebel Kabaré » in 1994 with Discorama ( the mail local label), Kom Zot had never stop raising the « Reggae Made In Réunion » not only to a national level, but also an international one.
