Her name, derived from the Dholuo word "Koko" (meaning noise), reflects her vibrant and dynamic artistry. Blending Afro, pop, and traditional Luo Benga, Koko creates a modern sound steeped in cultural storytelling. A passionate Pan- Africanist, feminist, and political voice, her music celebrates African heritage while addressing themes of women's empowerment, resilience, and social justice. Koko sees herself as a warrior-queen and messenger, weaving powerful narratives of African pride and strength into every beat, lyric, and performance.
