Knút Háberg Eysturstein (b. 1980) is a faroese musician, DJ & musicology student. He is currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Knút is active in his own solo project and has released two albums so far. Havsglóð (2004) and The Desert Holds A Flower (2009). The album is available at the Tutl webshop & at the iTunes online store. The album contains both songwriter oriented material, electronic inspiration & journeys into post rock land. In may 2008 Knút went back into the studio (Lundgaard Studios, DK) to record his follow-up album. With him in the studio were Bogi á Lakjuni (guitar, production), Jens L. Thomsen (bass, recording) & Høgni Lisberg (drums, percussion). Knút did vocals, guitar & keys. The result was a looser, dirtier, grittier album titled The Desert Holds A Flower. Knút is also active as a DJ and part of the DJ movement Undirbeat. He goes by the DJ alias "üBERNöRD". When DJing he is mostly working with different kinds of danceable musics but some sets are more rock oriented.
