The Klassische Philharmonie Bonn is the orchestra which followed 1986 the Chur Coelnisches Orchester in Bonn, which Heribert Beissel founded in 1959. The idea behind this was to bring the music of the Chur Coelnische Court in Bonn to light. At present, the stylistic development has led the orchestra to perform also works of the „Wiener Klassik“ now as its main repertoire. The successful series of concerts are now in the cities throughout Germany. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
