Klara Circus (クララサーカス) was a Japanese band active from 1984 to 1991, associated with the indie record label Nagomu Records, which was central to the 1980s Japanese punk and indie rock movement. Formed in Chiba Prefecture in 1984. Yumil, a first-year high school student, and Tomoko, a third-year high school student, who met at live venues such as The Stalin, started live activities, and soon Minko, a first-year high school student, joined. Influenced by the punk rock that was popular in the 1980s, they had a post-punk melody with fairy-tale lyrics played on acoustic instruments.
