Artist
The berlin band Klang Abstrakt was founded 1998 by Diana Leonhardt and Riccardo Zimmermann. Since then they are processing different influences, especially from the dark scene, to a new one. The music from Klang Abstrakt is sometimes a kind of gentle melodic, sometimes very dancable. The older music sounds dark, melancholic sometimes depressiv. Beam the first release, earned many good reviews and was the first step in the development of Klang Abstrakt. But faithful to their motto Klang Abstrakt they set on change and show with the new album midnite dawn a new exciting work. The music sounds less depressiv and invites much more to dance. On this album the music is pure electronic, filled up with dancable beats and basslines. The lyrics, which are on german and english mainly sung by Diana, are about the darker sides of life, the rage and agressions to the coldness of the world. The live setup is completed since end of 2002 by Andy on the guitar and Markus on the synthesizer. So the live play will be much more interesting and the music will win much new influences at all.
