Kivo van Twist is a rock band from Luxembourg, founded by Serpent Bite guitarist Kevin Misci in 2023. It draws inspiration from hard rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s such as AC/DC, Sisters of Mercy, Thin Lizzy, and Blue Öyster Cult as well as newer rock bands like Ghost and Magna Carta Cartel. The band's visual and lyrical presentation and theme revolves around the vampire Kivo van Twist, a character created by Misci in earlier years. The first release by Kivo van Twist is the power ballad "Time to Realize", released in December 2023. The current line-up consists of Kevin Misci (guitar, lead vocals), Daniel Gindt (drums), Ricky Pereira(keys), and Armin Siemiatkowski (bass) while featuring guest musicians on each song.
