Sass Sequins and Sass! Kitten on the Keys is an award winning singer, pianist, and self proclaimed "Flapper Rock" songwriter from San Francisco, CA aka Suzanne Ramsey. She offers histrionic vocalizations, abily strokes a ukulele , plonks piano keys and squeezes her accordion offering up retro Weimer-era cabaret melodies with saucy decadent lyrics . According to Bay Area arts critic Michael Snyder; "Since 2001... the spiritual and musical offspring of Fats Waller and Betty Boop, has released about a half dozen albums of her own that mix chestnuts from the Great American Songbook, classic ragtime, and wry original numbers in a vaudevillian, jaunty Tin Pan Alley style." She travels the globe bringing mirth and merriment where ever she goes and has been seen on E!, HBO, IFC, NBC,Bravo, MTV, and on countless French, Italian and of course web streams and cable access TV shows. Known for her unusual interpretations of songs like the Cure's A Forest and Submission by the Sex Pistols she also contributes to the Captain Beefheart tribute band Pachuco Cadaver. Kitten also plays piano and accordion for dark cabaret glam goth Vinsantos with David J of Bauhaus and Love and Rocket's fame, and has opened for punk rock legend's The Damned in the UK for their Twisted Cabaret Tour. She's opened for Spinal Tap, played piano for jazz legend Little Jimmy Scott in Las Vegas, walked the Red Carpet @ The Cannes Film Festival for her small role in TOURNEE by French Director Mathieu Amalric. ww
