Kiruba is a pop girl group from Ecuador formed in 2002 on the reality show Popstars. The original lineup—María José Blum, Diana Rueda, Mariela Nazareno, Gabriela Villalba, and Cecilia Calle—quickly rose to national fame. Their career spans three phases: an explosive debut (2003–2004), a short-lived comeback as Hada 4 (2008–2009) without Villalba, and a nostalgic reunion under the original name (2017–2018). Known for catchy singles and early-2000s pop flair, Kiruba sold over 10,000 albums before internal conflicts led to several splits.
