Noboru Kirishima (KIRISHIMA Noboru 霧島昇) (born 1914, died 1984) was a popular music and movie singer from Fukushima. His real name was Sakamoto ENGLISH. His singing career began in 1937, was put on hold during naval service in the Greater East-Asian War, and ended with his death in 1984. In 1970 he was awarded the Purple Ribbon for valor.
