Kirill Umansky (b. 1962) graduated from the composition class of Nikolai Sidelnikov at the Moscow Conservatory in 1986 and the organ class of Svetlana Bodul at the Moscow Conservatorie in 1992. Umansky's works are frequently performed at music festivals in Russia and abroad, particularly in the USA, Holland, Austria, England, and Norway.
