The members of the Kingston Cruisers set themselves an aim to pep reggae and ska scene by their colorful show, making a bridge between ska and reggae lovers who were still far away each other in those times. Because of these reasons their music covers a wide range from reggae ballads to danceable, zippy-zappy ska songs sometimes mixed with dub, dancehall, ragga and a little jazz. In April 2007 their introducing EP album called ‘the First Trip’ came out in authorial release containing 8 own songs which made a hit by both the audience and the professional scene! Since recording of this album the repertoire has been expanded by lots of new songs, so during countryside and foreign stations of their album propagation tour called ‘the First Trip Tour’ the massive can listen to songs not only from this album. In 2008 thanks to changes in band membership - the vocalist’ tasks were taken by Evelyn – the band has thrown itself into the Hungarian club life with new pep and fresh repertoire. Their full gig calendar, concerts with wow and full house and the Fringe Award (which means the appreciation of professional scene) indicate that the band is on a good way. To thank for the constant and enthusiastic support of audience they are soon going to release a video clip which will be made using their brand-new song called ‘Loose my head’. By the help of their successful PANKKK tender (which supports new album publishing) their first album is likely to come out soon... User-contributed text
