King of Pants (also known as "king.of.pants" or "DJ Freddy King of Pants") is a Mash-Up artist from Seattle, Washington. King of Pants Mash-Ups have been heard on the air in many cities such as Washington D.C., Paris France, Montreal Quebec, and of course Seattle where the King of Pants has a monthly all Mash-Up radio show on C89.5 fm. His most popular Mash-Up has been "Badd To Me", a pairing of The Cure's "Close To Me" and the Ying Yang Twins' "Badd". The track was featured on the Best of 2005 collection compiled by San Francisco's Mash-Up club 'Bootie', which had much to do with its widespread popularity. Since 2004 King of Pants has been hosting a monthly Mash-Up club night in Seattle called "FrankenBOOT" at a Seattle favorite dance club, Re-bar.
