Kindelan is British singer-songwriter and guitarist Laura Kindelan from Yorkshire. Kindelan writes jazz infused alternative soul. Her guitar driven arrangements are broken up with moments of dynamic contrast, layered with organic textures and steeped in rich and considered vocal arrangements. All of this is, topped with her raw and soulful vocal, creates a sound that has been likened to that of Lianne La Havas and Hiatus Kaiyote’s Nai Palm. Lockdown saw Kindelan self-producing demos of her songs. one of these demos, Feast, received support from BBC Radio One’s introducing show. Having been re-recorded and mixed by Ed Allen at The Green Room, Feast is one of a handful of songs set to be released as part of Kindelan’s debut EP. Singles from this anticipated project are set to start being released from Autumn 2022, with the whole EP dropping in 2023. Other notable achievements include a spin on BBC Radio 6, performing at 2021’s We Out Here and supporting artists B-ahwe and The Howl and The Hum.
