Kim Dong Wan (김동완) (born November 21, 1979) is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known as a member of boy band Shinhwa (신화), but since 2002 has been making a name for himself as an actor, with prominent roles in television dramas such as A Farewell to Sorrow and Children of Heaven. He has said that given the opportunity he would prefer a career in acting rather than as a singer though since the release of his debut album, hehe do say that now he prefers singing more. From Shinhwa, Kim is the fourth member to go solo, following Lee Min Woo (Minwoo), Shin Hye Sung (신혜성), and JunJin(전진).
