There are two bands known as Kilometers Davis: 1. An emo / jazz / punk / twee / gourdcore band from St. Louis, MO. Formed in 2015, the band featured Connor Sbrocco, Sang-jin Lee, Zack Staples, Roo Hawkins, and Jake Zelikovsky. They played their "final" show on May 4th, 2018, recording a session at KWUR 90.3 FM before the gig, this recording is one of their only, and represents a very small portion of their rather large catalog. 2. Kilometers Davis was started 10 years ago on Woodland Avenue in Duluth, Minnesota. Initially a band of three, over the years they have expanded their ranks to five. They are brought together by a love of diverse styles of music and driven by a desire to bring a unique and creative perspective to the traditional medium of the rock band. To this end, they released their first studio album, "Reading Books About How It's Done," in 2010. Recorded at the Terrarium in Minneapolis, MN by Jason Orris and Rob Oesterlin, the album featured guest performances by Ryan Young (Trampled by Turtles), Geoff Senn (Ingo Bethke) and Brad Townsend (Arp of the Covenant).
