The band Killing option, hailing from Slovenia (Lasko/Celje), most members started playing in local bands somewhere in 1999..(The middle finger, Bad generation, Second choice, Pingywings, Hc3o, A testimony of failure, Mismana), but most of those bands had a short life-expectancy... Nevertheless members of this bands are nowadays playing in a few Slovenian ''leading'' HC , metalcore acts (In the crossfire,Aktivna propaganda,Curse of instinct),even JAZZ, and other projects like (THE STROJ).. Killing option was officialy formed in early 2005 but the band has it's roots way back in 2003 when the local band hc3o called it quits. Although the band wasn't active anymore, their guitarist Marko Jurkosek has been creating new music, that was orientated in a completly new direction and has slowly acumulated quite some material. Damjan Vranovic joined in on bass and Alen Gregorin filled in the second guitar. While they were all spicing the music with new ideas Rok Trzan came along and applied the vocals. After some time they've finaly found a drummer (Matej Gorjup), now the band was complete and they started rehersing and playing shows a few months later. In the end of 2005 they recorded a second demo cd with 5 songs for promotion ( www.myspace.com/killingoption )..later in october 2006 they decided to part ways with their old bass player and they found a new member Denis Vengust on bass guitar, who has freshend the band with a lot of positive energy and new ideas.
