Kill Michael are a band from Portland, OR. They are led by guitarist and resident yeller Zoe Trichoche. The original lineup began in late 2018, and consisted of Zoe and drummer Britton Johnson (there was a bassist, but their name is unknown). Eventually, they found a permanent bassist in Adrien Wright, and with that, the three-piece gained a cult following through their cathartic live performances (most of which ended with Zoe writhing around on the floor and/or the drum set), fuzzy production, and Zoe's deeply confessional lyrics. They released their debut EP, Beating Myself Up, in the summer of 2019. They spent the rest of that year gaining a larger, passionate fanbase, and in January of 2020, they dropped their debut full-length, titled 60:40.
