about

Kill Me Quickly was created in early 2003 by Ben (ex Misadventures In Self Surgery & As Heaven Bleeds), Hadleigh (The Bleeders) and Kris (ex Promise of Bloodshed and Dead Letter) with the aim to create a hardcore band that focused on simplicity and brutality. Cookie (ex Promise Of Bloodshed, Evil Priest & Revenge) was quickly recruited on drums and once Pawl (ex Dead Letter) was added on bass, the line-up was complete. KMQ began writing immediately and within months were devastating many local shows. By October that year, KMQ had enough material to record, and with the help of engineer Nich Cunningham, recorded the Kill Me Quickly EP, which was released on Jailbait Records. Shortly after recording, Hadleigh left the band due to his commitments to other projects. But as a four piece, KMQ have tightened as a unit. As 2004 winds down, KMQ are continuing to write, with their sound ever evolving, but always remaining true to the original vision of simple yet brutal hardcore.
