Kill A Celebrity are a Sydney-based Australian four-piece playing short, fast and loud hyper-violent grindcore, heavily influenced by Pig Destroyer, Discordance Axis, Agents of Abhorrence and Converge. Kill A Celebrity's live shows have become somewhat infamous, resulting in the band being banned from multiple venues. The group released their 12 track demo 'Grindslaughter' early 2007. Kill A Celebrity have played with some immensely talented bands including Insect Warfare, Captain Cleanoff, Agents of Abhorrence, The Day Everything Became Nothing, Maximum Perversion, Pod People, Guild of Destruction, Beyond Terror Beyond Grace, Anal Discharge, Twin City Faction, Rather Be Dead and Dining In Tuscany as well as at 2007's East West Death/Grind Fest. We have just seen the release of the extremely limited edition double floppy disc split with Anal Discharge through Lesstalk Records. We are currently mixing and mastering our split CD with chaotic UK grindmaniacs Krupskaya thanks to Tim Carr of Soviet Records, which is due out late 2008 through Grindhead Records. Also expect a five way split with bands such as Onanizer (CZE) and Collision (CZE) somewhere in the near future.
