Kiitolliset kansalaiset is a Hardcore Punk band from Äänekoski, Finland. The band's current lineup was formed in 2008. Actually the band was originally formed about a year earlier but with just a little different lineup. The idea was to play hardcore punk with both modern and old school influences. The first demo was released in 2008 and during that time the band did their first gig as well. Songs kept coming all the time and soon a new demo called Musta joulu was released in spring 2009. After the quiet summer KK went back to their rehearsal place and wrote plenty of new songs and soon, only 6 months after the previous demo, a demo Miljoona piripäätä was released in December 2009. It showed a different side of the band, a more metallish sound and even a few thrash metal influenced tracks. That's about it.
