Kieran Hebden is the British musician behind Four Tet. William Tyler is an American, Nashville-based guitarist. Their first collaborative release was the 2023 single, 'Darkness, Darkness'. Hebden explained on Instagram that the release came together after he sent the Nashville-based guitarist and composer some samples and loops he'd put together "and he layered up all the guitar parts to go with it". Hebden also revealed that a joint album is in the works. It finally came out in September 2025, entitled 41 Longfield Street Late ‘80s.
