Artist
Kid Montana was at first a one-man operation for Jean-Marc Lederman (later in The Weathermen, Ether, Jules Et Jim, Ghost & Writer) who releases in 1982 his first record: the 12" EP "Statistics Mean Nothing When You Get On The Wrong Plane". In 1984, Dudley Kludt (later in The Magnetic Fields) took over the obviously limited vocal talent of JML and Revisiting Yalta was released on Antler Records. In 1985, Crepuscule signed the duo and a mini-LP (The Las Vegas Gold Rush) produced by Telex's Marc Moulin came out, soon followed by a 12" "Love May Be Blind". 1986 sees the release of Temperamental, Kid Montana's glorious swansong, and its "Spooky" and "Still Color Waiting" singles. Late 1986, the band just signed off peacefully. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
